Year of the Snake......in fashion!!!


NIKE continues to pack quite the venomous bite with their “Year of the Snake” collection, this time offering a full-bodied take on the WMNS Dunk Sky Hi. Wrapped in a Golden Python scales from collar to toe, this popular wedge-design silhouette couldn’t get any more reptilian or they’d start to raise havoc down the streets of Tokyo. Highlighted with a metallic gold Swoosh and finished with a tonal liner and laces and a gum rubber outsole secured to a white midsole, these Dunk Sky Hi’s are the perfect way to commemorate the upcoming Chinese new year. Available at select Nike retailers beginning February 18.



CHOPARD.2013 will be particularly auspicious for followers of the Zodiac as it marks the Year of the Snake. And for those looking for a little serpentine inspiration, you don't have to search very far. A new collection of watches has been created especially for the occasion and there is a delicious bounty of jewels already out there celebrating this mysterious reptile

Tiffany & Co. According to Chinese astrology, 2013 is the year of the snake… and Tiffany decided to celebrate by re-introducing the snake-inspired necklace created by Elsa Perretti. The Italian designer has been collaborating with the iconic jeweller since 1974.



MAC have come up with a gorgeous Year of the Snake make-up collection, featuring plenty of vibrant shades and shimmering finishes. The best bit? The beautiful foil-embossed snake packaging (we’re gonna have a hard time throwing the boxes away) and the chic serpentine design on the make-up itself – including a snake twisting up the sides of your lipstick! Very cool
